Ameri, 2015 Red Blend from Domaine Bousquet

Ameri, the latest from Domaine Bousquet, is a robust blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot grapes from one of Argentina’s finest vineyards. Deep in color and aroma, Ameri brings on flavors of preserved fig and raisin on a long finish. Smooth as silk, this a classy Mendoza gem. 36.00

Three Finger Jack Rides Again

With a name like Three Finger Jack, you know there’s got to be a story. Seems that once upon a time, an outlaw of that name roamed California’s foothills looking to get rich quick. Not sure how much of his legend is true, but the Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon (enhanced with Petite Sirah, Malbec and Merlot) bearing his name is the real deal. Concentrated flavors and aromas emerge from the rich Lodi fruit–along with a big mouthfeel (partly due to the 15% abv, no doubt.) Three Finger Jack is a robust cab and a great conversation piece in its flask-style bottle. 22.00

Balletto 2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir–Get You Some

Gotta love Balletto wines: Estate grown & bottled, Russian River Valley fruit. Balletto’s Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir, fermented entirely in stainless steel. The result is a delicate, nicely balanced Rosé with just the right amount of acidity. The fact that Balletto‘s 2016 Rosé was listed in Wine Enthusiast‘s Top 100 Wine List is no accident. Glom onto this beauty. 20.00
